A Massachusetts judge ordered on Monday that the three suicide notes Aaron Hernandez left behind will be given to his family. An attorney for Hernandez’s fiancee, Shayanna Jenkins-Hernandez, requested to the judge that the family should be able to review the letters that were intended for them. The letters were held by police as they investigated the circumstances of the former NFL player’s death. Hernandez hung himself on April 19 in his jail cell at the Souza-Baranowski Correctional Center in Shirley, Massachusetts. It was reported that the former NFL player wrote three notes to his fiancee, their daughter, Avielle, and his prison lover, Kyle Kennedy. The request was granted just hours before Hernandez’s funeral in his hometown of Bristol, Connecticut.
