<p>The Local Coordinations Committees, a group monitoring the Syrian conflict, reported</a> over a dozen air raids, as well as artillery shelling, targeting rebel-held areas within the eastern Damascus suburb of al-Qaboun on April 25.</p><p>The Revolutionary Forces of Syria Media Office</a> said that one woman and child were wounded in the raids, while local rebel group Jaish al-Islam confirmed</a> that three of its fighters were captured by pro-regime forces in the eastern outskirts of al-Qaboun. Meanwhile, the Syrian military said</a> it killed at least 17 rebel militants after discovering a military tunnel in the same area.</p><p>Rebels in the area recently said</a> that the current fighting in al-Qaboun represents the most intensified scale of violence since the regime-launched offensive began in February 2017</a>.</p><br />
