PARIS — All eyes are on 39-year-old front-runner Emmanuel Macron, as he advances to a runoff against the French Trump, Marine Le Pen.

Macron, who could become the youngest president in France’s history, also happens to have a wife 25 years his senior.

Macron hopped on the student-teacher train long before it was even a thing. Brigitte Trogneux first met Macron when he was 15 and she was his high school drama teacher.

Trogneux was married with three kids, but that didn’t stop Macron from kicking game.

Macron asked his teacher if they could rewrite a play together and the May-December thing was born.

Aged 17, Macron’s parents sent him to study in Paris, but he vowed to marry Trogneux. The two called each other constantly and would spend hours on the phone.

Trogneux eventually divorced her first husband, and then in 2007, the grandmother of seven got married to Macron. They’ve been happily married ever since.
