Johnny Depp is finally vocal about his $25 million dollar lawsuit against his former financial managers.

According to E Online, Depp is reportedly $40 million dollars in debt and his former managers believe it was due to his lavish spending.

Depp apparently made a statement to the Wall Street Journal saying, "why didn't they drop me as a client if I was so out of control?... I've worked very, very hard for a lot of years and trusted a lot of people, some who have clearly let me down."

In a counter suit, E Online reports that Depp's former management says they "did everything within its power over the last 17 years to protect Depp from himself and keep Depp financially solvent."

The actor has been accused of spending more than $2 million dollars per month, and being fully responsible for his financial situation.

Depp tells the WSJ, "it's my money... if I want to buy 15,000 cotton balls a day, it's my thing."

Ultimately it'll be up to the courts to decide if Depp is responsible for his debt or if he was mismanaged by his financial advisors.
