Kim Kardashian is lucky in many ways.<br /><br />The reality star sat down with Ellen Degeneres to discuss the infamous Paris robbery last year and revealed it changed her life in many ways for the better.<br /><br />Kim says, “I know this sounds crazy, but I know that was meant to happen to me. I’m such a different person. I really feel like things happen in your life to teach you things.”<br /><br />Kim told Ellen that authorities gave her the details. The robbers had apparently followed her on various social media accounts for 2 years as she flaunted her jewelry, cars and other luxury items. She says that behavior put a huge bullseye on her head and she's not surprised it happened to her.<br /><br />Kim got emotional as she told the story of the robbery and how it has made her a better mother to her children.<br /><br />She said, “I’m so happy that my kids get THIS me. And that this is how I’m raising my kids cause I just don’t care about that stuff anymore.”<br /><br />It appears that the silver lining on this dark cloud had some really valuable life lessons!<br />
