United Airlines and Dr. David Dao reached a settlement after he was violently dragged off a flight, Dao’s lawyers said on Thursday.<br />Dao’s lawyers did not disclose the terms of the settlement, but they did commend United CEO Oscar Munoz on handling the situation.<br />Dao's Lawyer Thomas Demetrio said, "Mr. Munoz said he was going to do the right thing, and he has.<br />In addition, United has taken full responsibility for what happened...without attempting to blame others, including the City of Chicago."<br />On April 9, Dao was dragged from his seat on an overbooked United flight from Chicago.<br />He suffered a concussion, a broken nose, and lost two of his teeth because of the incident.<br />United apologized profusely for the incident and said that the settlement between Dao was an “amicable resolution of the unfortunate incident.”
