6'3 Da’Monte Williams (Peoria Manual 2017) is the son of former Illinois star (2001 Big Ten POY) and 1998 Illinois Mr. Basketball and McDonald's All-American, Frank Williams. <br />The four-star, strong, long, athletic 2017 combo guard is widely considered a top 50 player nationally and one of the top HS players in Illinois. <br />With a great deal of upside and a terrific feel, Da'Monte's game is described as beging reminiscent of his father's, but Frank was more of a point guard.<br />While not known as a scorer, Da'Monte scored 37 points in Manual's dramatic Pontiac Holiday Tournament semifinal win over Joliet West in December.
