An interesting video has emerged from Manitoba, Canada of hundreds of snakes mating.<br /><br />In the clip, which was filmed at Narcisse Snake Dens on April 28, hundreds of male red-sided garter snakes tangle around larger females at they compete to mate.<br /><br />Recent warm temperatures in the area have triggered snake mating season with thousands of the reptiles emerging from their dens to procreate.<br /><br />Female garter snakes produce a pheromone that attracts male snakes in droves, sometimes leading to intense competition and the formation of mating balls of up to 25 males per female.
