<p>Tunisian security forces killed multiple gunmen following a raid on a purported safe house in Sidi Bouzid’s eastern Ouled Chalbi neighborhood on April 30. At least two were killed and four others were arrested, according to Tunisian media reports</a>.</p><p>The gunmen had been holed up in a residential complex before security forces launched the operation following intelligence reports</a> that an Islamic State cell had entered the country illegally through Libya. One militant on the second floor of a building detonated his suicide vest, while security officials shot and killed another attempting to flee the building. Several local policemen were wounded during the incident.</p><br />
