Japan's largest warship Izumo departed Yokosuka port on Monday morning amid rising tension following missiles tests by North Korea. The Izumo is tasked with escorting a United States supply ship in the western Pacific, according to Japanese media. Reports said the US supply ship is expected to refuel US ships that are in the area, including the USS Carl Vinson striker group.
