by Andrew Caringi

These new Adidas shoes are trash—literally. The Ultraboost running shoe is made from recycled plastic collected from the ocean. Adidas teamed up with “Parley for the Oceans” to create three new editions. The shoe is made from 95% recycled plastic and 5% recycled polyester. On average, each shoe reuses 11 plastic bottles netted from the ocean. It’s Adidas’ second venture into environmentally-conscious footwear.
