<p>Kelly Ripa appeared to be thrilled that Ryan Seacrest</a> would be joining her as co-host on Live with Kelly</a>, but sources say the TV star is livid!</p><br /><p>The decision to bring Seacrest on was “ultimately [ABC president] Ben Sherwood’s call,” a well-connected network insider revealed to RadarOnline.com. It wasn’t Ripa’s call — she never would have chosen the former American Idol host to join her show!</p><br /><p>Ripa “preferred someone less well-known,” the source confessed. “She wanted someone that she could boss around, and that isn’t Ryan. He’s as big of a star as she is!”</p><br /><p>Since Michael Strahan </a>left </a>Live! </a>last year,</a> Ripa’s been hosting the morning talk show solo. At the time, Ripa slammed Strahan for betraying her</a>. “People deserve respect,” she said.</p><br /><p>Other hosts who’ve temporarily stepped in for Strahan include Anderson Cooper</a>, Andy Cohen</a>, and Jimmy Kimmel</a>.
