Ryan Reynolds is the early leader for husband of the year after making some wonderful comments about his wife, Blake Lively.<br /><br />The actor made comments to Humans of New York at the Met Gala, saying that Blake has made him a more empathetic person.<br /><br />He reportedly says, "she always responds with empathy. She meets anger with empathy. She meets hate with empathy..."<br /><br />And Ryan will be the first to admit that he's improved as a man thanks to these lessons, and it's affected his relationship with his own family, namely his late father.<br /><br />He says, "I had a very fractured relationship with my father... before he died, she made me remember things I didn't want to remember. She made me remember the good times."<br /><br />It's a strong relationship like that that proves they aren't acting when they appear so happy together on the red carpet.<br />
