<p>A helicopter pilot was plucked from Porirua Harbour after the BK117 twin-engine aircraft crashed into shallow water on Tuesday, May 2.</p><p>Emergency services were called and he was airlifted from the helicopter, which had landed in shallow water</a>, Newshub reported.</p><p>The pilot, Rick Lucas, told stuff.co.nz</a> he had trouble undoing his seat belt after the “significant impact”, but eventually managed to climb from the cabin.</p><br />
