<p>Mexico’s Popocatepetl volcano erupted nine times from Monday, May 1, to Tuesday, May 2, and emitted 109 “low intensity exhalations,” according to the National Center for Disaster Prevention</a> (CENAPRED).</p><p>This timelapse footage, captured on May 2, shows one of the eruptions. According to 20 Minutos, the volcano’s exhalations were accompanied with water vapor, gas and minimal amounts of ash.</p><br />
