<br /> <p>Curious killer whales approached boaters in Monterey Bay, California, on April 27.</p><br /><p>A family of curious orcas approached a whale watching boat tour after they had fed on a gray whale carcass for most of the day.</p><p>The boat drifted for an hour, and the whales swam all around and under the boat, turning their heads sideways to look at the passengers.</p><br /><p>Monterey Bay Whale Watch said that “everyone on board was thrilled to see these animals in the wild and not captivity in a small tank.
