<p>Firefighters and police in Southwest, Washington, on May 8 conducted a rescue operation to retrieve a clutch of ducklings from a storm drain under of the watchful eyes of the mother duck.</p><p>DC Fire and EMS said eight ducklings were recovered from the storm drain. This video shows crew members removing the drain cover and fishing out the young animals.</p><p>Another video from DC Fire and EMS shows the rescued ducklings running towards their mother.</p><br />
