Footage has emerged of huge hailstones wreaking havoc upon a parking lot in Denver, Colorado.<br /><br />The video, captured on Monday, shows vehicle owners surveying the scene as the hailstorm smashes windscreens and causes significant damage. <br /><br />The filmer, whose car wasn't spared in the downpour, described the storm online.<br /><br />"I filmed the lightning in the sky as the oncoming storm approached, and was suddenly hit by a massive hailstorm, spawning golf ball sized hail," he wrote. <br /><br />"It took me by surprise as I'd never seen such a hailstorm, as brief as it was. There was immediate damage in the aftermath of the storm, including that of my personal car."
