<p>Firefighters battled a large fire that broke out on the rooftop of a building under construction on New York City’s Upper East Side on Tuesday, May 9.</p><p>ABC 7 reported</a> the fire broke out just after 2 pm at East 83rd Street and Park Avenue. The building normally houses Jesuit priests but was vacant at the time due to renovations.</p><p>A nearby school was evacuated and the flames were under control in about 30 minutes.</p><br />
