Jennifer Aniston knows that her beloved show “Friends” would have been much different in today's era of smartphones.<br /><br />The actress tells the Thrive Global Podcast, "We were jokingly saying that if Friends was created today, you would have a coffee shop full of people that were just staring at their iPhones... there would be no actual episodes or conversations."<br /><br />Aniston has a good point... Her show revolved around a group of friends who would socialize in Central Perk without the distraction of technology.<br /><br />Could you imagine if Joey was on Bumble or Tinder the whole time?<br /><br />Instead of playing Smelly Cat at the coffee shop, Phoebe would have just uploaded it to YouTube and gone viral.<br /><br />Monica would probably be focused on Instagraming everything she whipped up in the kitchen… She’d also post inspirational weight loss photos to try and get likes and fitness sponsorships. <br /><br />Jennifer Aniston's character Rachel would probably have just reconnected with Monica on Facebook and left it at that.<br /><br />And can you even imagine what Chandler’s Twitter would be like? <br />
