<p>A 10-foot long injured thresher shark was spotted off the rocks in Delaware’s Indian River on Tuesday, May 9.</p><p>DelmarvaNow</a> reported officers tried to grab the shark from the rocks using a tow rope, but the shark started thrashing. Officials said the rescue boat would not have been large enough to take the shark to an examination center.</p><p>Natural Resources Police spokesman Sgt. John McDerby told Delmarva Now staff that the shark swam into the current and was not seen again.</p><br />
