<p>Zookeepers at Denmark’s Copenhagen Zoo called in a dentist after noticing that one of their new arrivals, Nord the polar bear, had a badly damaged tooth.</p><p>This footage shows Hanne Kortegaard from the University of Copenhagen’s University Hospital for Companion Animals operating on Nord, who was transferred to the zoo from Russia in April.</p><p>The zoo said in a statement</a> that one broken tooth was removed under anesthesia but Nord will need follow-up treatment for a problem canine tooth next month.</p><br />
