Shocking footage has emerged from China of a boy being run over by a car after being knocked off his scooter by someone opening their car door. <br /><br />The video, filmed in Suzhou, Jiangsu Province on May 10, shows the scooter hit the open car door, knocking the boy and his father to the ground. <br /><br />A car following the pair is unable to stop in time and runs over the boy. <br /><br />According to local reports, he had severe injuries but is expected to recover.
