About 100 workers are working around the clock to pump floodwater out of underground storm sewers in the city of Pierrefonds, Quebec. <br /> <br />Pierrefonds is one of the worst-hit cities in southwestern Quebec, Canada from the historic flooding that ravaged through the region. <br /> <br />Water hoses were seen lying in basements or underground parking lots to pump out floodwater. <br /> <br />The floodwater has receded from some residential buildings but sandbags can still be seen at the doorstep. <br /> <br />However, some areas are still flooded with water level as deep as the height of an adult in some low-lying areas.
