<p>A 101-year-old veteran of the D-day landings on Sunday, May 14, reportedly became the oldest person in the world to skydive.</p><p>Bryson William Verdun Hayes, a former Royal Signals lance corporal</a>, completed the tandem jump from 15,000ft at an airfield in Honiton, Devon.</p><p>A spokesman for the Royal British Legion told the Guardian</a> that Hayes would be celebrating with a glass of champagne.</p><br />
