<p>A tornado caused significant damage to homes in Elk City, Oklahoma, as seen in this video from May 17. The previous day a tornado spun through the city killing at least one person and injuring dozens, as reported by local TV station KOCO News 5</a>.</p><p>At least 40 homes were destroyed and another 50 to 75 homes were heavily damaged, according to KOCO News 5.</p><p>Oklahoma station News 9</a> reported 53-year-old Gene “Bo” Mikles, Jr. was killed when his car was picked up by the wind and dropped.</p><p>A NWS</a> thunderstorm and heavy rainfall warning remains in effect for the region.</p><br />
