Dramatic footage has emerged from Inner Mongolia of firefighters battling to contain a huge forest fire.<br /><br />In the clip, which was filmed in Hulunbuir on May 17, helicopters can be seen dropping the firefighters close to the enormous blaze.<br /><br />According to local authorities, more than 8-thousand people were involved in the effort to extinguish the fire which started to abate on Thursday evening.<br /><br />Some 8,400 hectares of forest had been burned as of Friday morning, according to local media.
