More than 2,000 runners from over 60 nations took part in one of the most challenging races in the world on Saturday (20 May), The Great Wall Marathon in China.<br /><br /> Athletes conquered 5,164 steps and ran though rural villages while dealing with stifling 35C heat in China’s Tianjin province. <br /><br /> The marathon was held for the 18th time. <br /><br /> Marcin Joachim Swierc of Poland won the men’s race in 03:14:34.<br /><br /> Anna Sofie Nelsson of Sweden won the women’s race in 04:11:21.<br />No Comment | euronews: watch the international news without commentary | http://www.euronews.com/nocomment/
