The police said they had executed warrants</a> as part of the investigation into the Manchester Arena attack</a> the previous night.</p><p>The Manchester Evening News</a> reported that at least six armed officers were scrambled to the scene.</p><p>Elsewhere in the city, an explosion was reported</a> and armed police were seen in Fallowfield, at about the same time police said a 23-year-old man had been arrested in connection with the attack.
