<p>A neighborhood in Newport Beach, California, was flooded on the evening of May 24.</p><p>Water from a mistakenly damaged seawall rushed into the Balboa Peninsula neighbourhood during high tide, as seen in this video from Danny Sullivan. Children and teenagers nonetheless had a good time paddleboarding and lying on floats.</p><p>The seawall was taken out during house demolition work, residents told ABC7</a>.</p><br />
