This is the heartbreaking moment an abandoned pub breaks down when she realises her owners have left her and they won't be coming back. <br />Pit bull cross Electra, four, was dumped at the Inland Valley Humane Society in Pomona, California, on May 17, and put up for adoption. <br />Footage shows the heartbroken dog looking sadly through his cage before looking down at the floor. <br />The moment a pit bull realised her owners abandoned her at shelter <br /> <br />The tear-jerking footage was posted to Facebook by local woman Lolys Menchaka who helps the shelter find its animals new homes. <br />'Electra represents the face of sadness and reality in the shelters,' she wrote in the video's caption. <br />'Sometimes I would like to understand owners surrendering their animals and I don't like to judge them, but when you see how the dogs come to the receiving department with their happy faces and they stand all proud I just can't understand.'
