<p>Greater Manchester Police said</a> on May 25 that they were responding to a call at Castlefields Campus School on Linby Street in Hulme, in the south of the city, and evacuated surrounding Mancunian Way and Jackson Crescent.</p><p>The police also confirmed</a> that a bomb disposal unit had arrived at the scene. They later confirmed</a> that the scene had been deemed safe and the cordon had been lifted.</p><br />
