Footage has emerged of the moment a lorry hit the central reservation of a motorway in China, spilling hundreds, possibly thousands, of baby chickens onto the road. <br /><br />The CCTV video, filmed in Hechi, Guangxi Zhuang on May 12, shows the vehicle colliding with the middle of the road and tipping onto its side. <br /><br />It also features aftermath footage, including rescue workers scooping dozens of chicks at a time with a shovel. <br /><br />According to local reports, the driver was injured but is now recovering. <br /><br />It's not known how many of the chicks were killed but the video suggests many survived.
