<p>Hundreds of Mancunians waited for hours outside tattoo parlours on Friday, May 26, to be inked with the city’s symbolic worker bee in a gesture of defiance after the concert attack at the start of the week.</p><p>Tattoo artists announced the appeal</a> shortly after the attack with all money raised going towards the Manchester Arena Victim’s Fund.</p><p>This footage shows people queuing outside the Holier Than Thou parlour, which was overwhelmed by the demand but said</a> it would offer a free piercing to all those it could not accommodate.</p><p>The bee is a motif symbolising the city’s work ethic and dates back to the industrial revolution.</p><br />
