<p>A member of the US Navy SEAL parachute team, the Leap Frogs, died after his parachute failed to open during a Fleet Week event on May 28.</p><p>The incident occurred at a Memorial Day demonstration, according to reports from WABC</a> and MSN</a>. The NAVY SEAL’s parachute failed to open and he fell into the water near Jersey City’s Liberty State Park. His parachute separated from him and landed in a Jersey City parking lot, as seen in this footage taken by uploader Aaron Moss.</p><p>The parachutist was retrieved by the Coast Guard and sent to Jersey City Medical Center, where he died from his injuries, according to CBS</a>.</p><br />
