<p>Two sambar deer</a> were caught on camera at a pool of water in Yarra Valley bushland, in footage published by a volunteer Landcare group on Thursday, May 25.</p><p>The group released two videos. In one, a sambar stag spots the camera and walks close to the lens to discover more. In the other, a deer of the same species playfully swims in the pool, apparently enjoying the refreshing dip.</p><p>Deer, an introduced species, are considered pests in Victoria, and have caused extensive damage</a> to property in the Upper Yarra Valley.</p><br />
