UPDATED: A previous version of this content inaccurately stated that Sailing Yacht A was the biggest yacht in the world. <br /> <br />GIBRALTAR — One of the the world’s largest private yachts was recently spotted sailing in Monaco following sea trials in Navantia shipyard in Cartagena, Spain and final tests in Gibraltar. <br /> <br />At 143 meters tall, Sailing Yacht A is 10 meters higher than the Big Ben clock tower in London. It features the three tallest carbon-fiber masts in the world, Yachting & Boating World reported. <br /> <br />The vessel is reportedly piloted using touch-sensitive controls, meaning its gigantic sails can be raised and lowered by the swiping of a screen. <br /> <br />Using a sail-assisted motor it can cruise at speeds of up to 16 knots, according to yachting news site Yacht Harbor. <br /> <br />The yacht will likely be manned by a crew of 54, and will also feature eight floors, a helipad, swimming pool and various other features. <br /> <br />The vessel was ordered by Russian billionaire industrialist Andrey Igorevich Melnichenko in August 2015. It was photographed in Monaco on May 4, according to the Sun.
