Dramatic security camera footage has emerged from China of a Tesla car careering off the road and crashing into a shop.<br /><br />The video, which was filmed in Nantong, Jiangsu Province on May 20, shows the Tesla vehicle just missing a pedestrian as it smashes at speed into the shop. <br /><br />Locals then help to rescue the driver through the boot (trunk) of the vehicle.<br /><br />The driver pressed the accelerator instead of the brake when he tried to avoid a scooter, according to local media.
