A sandstorm engulfed cities and counties throughout Kashi Prefecture in northwest China's Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region on Tuesday, shrouding areas in mushroom-like clouds of dust and sand. <br /> <br />Kashi City and counties like Shache, Yecheng, Zepu and Yopurga all suffered from low road visibility and high wind speed that heavily damaged homes and trees.
