Essentially, it is just a website that has entries <br />listed in reverse sequential order. <br />Over the last decade, a lot of software programs and blogging platforms have been <br />set up to make the process extremely easy. A blog writer can select any platform, <br />type their entry, press submit and show it to the world. Creating a blog is one of the <br />easiest ways out there to start a website. If you haven’t started one yet, why not try <br />it? It is very quick to set up and can be completely free. <br /> <br />What Might It Cost To Start Blogging? <br />You will find many services that allow you to start a blog for free. It is suggested to <br />use one of the free services to get a basic feel for blogging and “get your feet wet.” <br />Once you have decided to stick with it and that you want to make money with your <br />blog, you can move up to a self-hosted blog. <br /> <br />Finding a niche area for your blog: <br />The first thing that you need to do for starting a blog is finding the niche of your <br />blog. Niche is a topic that your blog is going to be about. <br />If you are planning to make money in 2016, your chances of success will be better if <br />you blog on a single topic. <br /> <br />Here are 2 free ways that I feel are best to start your blog with: <br /> <br />1. Blogger.com – Blogger is also very good, easy to set up, owned by Google, you <br />can customize the theme, and the domain name includes “.blogspot.com”. <br />Blogger is continuously upgrading itself to become more customizable and <br />currently has a lot more options than they did a few years ago. <br /> <br />2. WordPress.com – It is completely free, easy to set up, you can customize the <br />theme, but other customizations are limited, domain name includes <br />“.wordpress.com”. <br /> <br />That is a start. Very important to set up separate blogs for different subjects <br />if you want to use it to make money. An example would be a Work From <br />Home Blog, A Dog Owners blog, or a gardening blog.
