<p>Residents of Plettenberg Bay and Knysna in South Africa’s Western Cape were evacuated from their homes following severe fires that ripped through several areas on June 7 and 8.</p><p>Herald Live reported</a> that all schools in the Plettenberg Bay area were closed due to the extent of the fire.</p><p>Up to 10,000 residents were evacuated from Knysna, local reports said.</p><p>In this video, which was shown live on Facebook, the shells of several burnt-out houses can be seen, as well as live fires in other buildings.</p><br />
