Bodies found in search for missing Myanmar military aircraft

YANGON, MYANMAR — Bodies and debris have been found in the search for a Myanmar military aircraft that went missing this week. <br /> <br />The Y-8-200F Myanmar army plane left Myeik for Yangon on Wednesday at 1.06 p.m. on a regular flight path that is flown weekly, Reuters reported. The aircraft was carrying 120 Myanmar military personnel. <br /> <br />Communication with the aircraft was lost approximately 29 minutes into the flight when it was 43 kilometers west of Dawei. <br /> <br />Bodies and debris from a wreckage were discovered on Thursday in the Andaman Sea, BBC News reported, citing a Myanmar military Facebook post. <br /> <br />Some debris from the aircraft was also found late on Wednesday, 136 miles from Dawei in the Andaman Sea, according to Agence France-Presse.
