A storm left the streets of the South African city of Cape Town under water and covered in mud and silt, Wednesday. At least 8 people were killed, and thousands were left homeless, in what has been described as the worst winter storm to hit the country in 30 years. Cars scrambled to find their way around the flooded streets, while a number of passers-by stood by Cape Town’s beach road to capture photographs of the high waves.
