Aloo Chop is the famous snack recipe of Odisha. This recipe is perfect with a cup of tea in rainy season. <br /> <br /> <br />INGREDIENTS: <br />Potato - 2 pieces boiled and mashed, <br />Onion - 1 medium finely chopped, <br />Ginger-garlic paste - 1 tcp, <br />Cilantro - 1/2 cup chopped, <br />Green chilli - 2 chopped, <br />Turmeric powder - 1/2 tsp, <br />Garam masala powder - 1 tsp, <br />zeera powdwer – 1 tsp <br />Dhania-powder – 1tsp <br />Chhole – 2tsp <br />groundnut – 1tsp <br /> <br />Salt to taste, <br />Oil for fry, <br /> <br />METHOD: <br />Heat the oil in a pan, put chopped onion and fry it for 1 min. <br /> <br />Add ginger-garlic paste and all the dry spices mix well. <br /> <br />Add green chilli then mix well. <br /> <br />Add mashed potato and salt into the pan then mix well. <br /> <br />Add roasted powder and stir it continuously for 2 mins. <br /> <br />Turn off the flame and cool it down. <br /> <br />In a mix bowl put the chickpeas flour, salt and baking soda and mix with water and make a smooth batter. <br /> <br />Make some small sizes of balls with the potato mixture then press it and make round and flat shape. <br /> <br />Take one and deep into the batter then deep fry it, When it become golden brown, take out from the oil. <br /> <br />Serve hot with a cup of tea. <br /> <br />Aloor chop recipe | Kolkata chop recipe | Bengali cuisine | Kolkata street food | Bengali snack | Rainy season special recipe | Bengali food | Kolkata food | Delicious food | Easy to prepare | Potato recipe | Potato pakoda | Aloo pakoda
