Second round knockout by Sugar Ray Robinson of Carl "Bobo" Olsen completed a 7 fight comeback for the 35-year-old Ray Robinson, after a three-year retirement. With the knock, Sugar Ray regained the world’s middleweight title for the second time by knocking out champion Carl “Bobo” Olson in two rounds in Chicago on December 9, 1955. Champions rarely regain the title after their retirement, and still rarer after a three years layoff, but then again; sugar Ray Robinson is considered by most boxing historians to be the best pound for pound boxer of all time!
