Thousands Gather For Orlando Shooting Victims' 1-Year Memorial Service

<p>On June 12, 2016, 49 people were killed and 58 others were injured in a shooting at Pulse nightclub in Orlando, Florida. Omar Mateen was the gunman who committed the terrorist attack/hate crime who also died that day.</p><br /><p>One year later, hundreds gathered at the nightclub to pay their respects and honor the victims. The Mayor, Buddy Dyer, said during his speech at the memorial: I realize that gathering here in this place, at this hour, is beyond difficult.
