Initial reports citing a spokesman said that there had been no known deaths or injuries in the blaze.</p><p>Locals shared images of the black smoke and flames rising from the refinery on social media.</p><p>The fire occurred a day after Pemex temporarily suspended operations and evacuated employees from the Salina Cruz refinery due to heavy rains brought by Tropical Storm Calvin.
