The fight between Floyd Mayweather and Conor McGregor is on.<br /><br />And here’s what we know so far.<br /><br />The bout will take place on August 26 at the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas at a weight of 154 pounds… just a few pounds over Floyd’s preferred class… and they will wear 10 ounce boxing gloves, not 12, and it will be a Mayweather Promotion.<br /><br />If Floyd wins this fight, he will be the first boxer to have a 50 and 0 record… and if Conor wins, he’d be 1 and 0. At least in boxing.<br /><br />The MMA star is expected to make somewhere in the ballpark of 100 million dollars, with the lion’s share going to Floyd.<br /><br />Ticket prices have not been set, but there is some thinking that the pay per view will cost around 100 bucks. Maybe even more.<br /><br />According to UFC president Dana White, Conor wants to defend his lightweight belt in December regardless of the outcome of his match with Floyd.<br /><br />But some experts think this could be the last time he ever fights.<br /><br />Either way, buckle up for this one. It’s going to be a hell of a ride.<br />
