<p><b> by Andrew Caringi</b></p><p>A plane with no pilots?<p>Today at the Paris Air Show, Boeing announced that it will test autonomous technology for “pilotless” jetliners in the next year. On-board flight computers already provide some self-flying capabilities by allowing jetliners to take off, cruise, and land with minimal human assistance.</p><p>Self-piloting technology would also help meet the increasing need for pilots.
