<p>When anti-LGBT protesters tried to crash the Knoxville, Tennessee, Pride Festival on June 17, they were thwarted by the power of music.</p><p>Protesters arrived at the gay pride event carrying signs bearing homophobic remarks, including one emblazoned with the words, “homo sex is a sin.” They began to chant, but were quickly drowned out by the Gay Men’s Chorus of Washington</a>.</p><p>The DC-based group sang at the top of their lungs, until the protesters can no longer be heard.
